East takes on Laramie, Kelly Walsh, Sheridan

CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne East girls swimming team competed against Laramie, Kelly Walsh and Sheridan on Saturday in Sheridan.

Alexandra Smock was the top finisher for East placing sixth in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:25.84. Aniston Bolinger added a seventh place finish in the 200-meter freestyle clocking in at 2:38.70. Shannon Bailey finished 7th in the 400-meter free with a final time of 5:30.99. 

The relay team of Smock, Ruby Jacobsen, Macradee Jackson, and Bolinger finished seventh in the 200-meter free relay (2:18.81). In the 400-meter free relay Bolinger, Smock, Bailey and Kaitlyn Tompkins took fourth (5:14.02).
